Stopford Joins Weber Shandwick as EVP
Michael Stopford has joined Weber Shandwick as EVP and senior corporate global strategist. He’ll be based in Washington D.C. working with the corporate practice on a number of areas, especially corporate reputation and social responsibility. Stopford will report to Micho Spring, chair of the global corporate practice.
Previously, he was deputy assistant secretary general of strategic communications services for NATO. Stopford has also worked for the United Nations and the private sector arm of the World Bank, the International Finance Corporation.
