Despite his medical leave, talk is spreading that Apple chief Steve Jobs will be attending tomorrow’s Apple media event. According to rumors, Apple is likely to announce the iPad 2, and possibly the iPhone 5 at the event.
AllThingsDigital reports: “According to several sources close to the situation, Apple CEO Steve Jobs–who is on a health-related leave from the company–is definitely considering an appearance at its big iPad 2 event tomorrow.”
Jobs has been a big proponent of the iPad’s touchscreen technology, and introduced the concept that touchscreens would not work on laptops, only on tablets.
Rumor has it that his latest design interest is to lose the home button, so perhaps the new iPads and iPhones will come with a simple touchscreen with no home.
