Steve Jobs Resigns as Apple CEO
Steve Jobs, the visionary behind the progress of Apple from a simple desktop computer maker to a worldwide technological icon, is stepping down as CEO today. The move comes without any precedent, and will undoubtedly have a large impact on Apple’s future. Jobs recommended the current COO, Tim Cook, to take over the duties of CEO.
We’ll have more as the story unfolds, but it seems that Steve Jobs submitted his letter of resignation on Wednesday and has not commented on his health.
