Stellene Volandes Named Town & Country Editor

A promotion.

Hearst Magazines has named Stellene Volandes editor in chief of Town & Country. Volandes most recently served as the magazine’s executive style director.

Volandes joined T&C in 2011 as jewelry and accessories director. She previously worked for Departures as style editor.

“Stellene is truly one of the most talented editors I’ve worked with,” said T&C editorial director and Esquire editor Jay Fielden, in an announcement. “She’s been a key player in reimagining Town & Country, and her taste, good judgment, and journalistic skill have come to be key ingredients in every issue.”

Volandes will continue to report to Fielden.
