Stations Preempt Regular Programming for Coverage of President Obama's Visit to Ground Zero

Today, President Obama made his first appearance at Ground Zero since announcing to the world Sunday night the death of Osama Bin Laden. It was also Obama’s first visit to the hallowed ground since becoming president in 2009.

The New York stations were ready with extended coverage, as several anchors reported live from Ground Zero.
