Square Enix Announces Deus Ex GO for Mobile

Deus Ex GO will ask players to complete turn-based puzzles to help agent Adam Jensen uncover the conspiracy surrounding a terrorist plot.

Video-game company Square Enix announced Deus Ex GO, the latest puzzle game from Square Enix Montreal. The third game in the GO series (following Hitman GO and Lara Croft GO), Deus Ex GO will ask players to complete turn-based puzzles to help agent Adam Jensen uncover the conspiracy surrounding a terrorist plot.

In Deus Ex GO, players will “use hacking, combat and augmentations to solve the most challenging puzzles of the entire GO series.”

The game will include a new feature for the GO franchise, allowing players to create puzzles for other users to complete. This feature is expected to come to the game shortly after launch.

In a statement, Patrick Naud, head of studio at Square Enix Montreal, commented:

With Deus Ex, we are taking the GO franchise to another level. We are building on the learnings of Hitman and Lara Croft to go a step further with Deus Ex in terms of visual, game design and social features.

Deus Ex GO is expected to launch on phones and tablets this summer.
