  • RAVE Restaurant Group (parent company of Pizza Inn and Pie Five Pizza Co.) signed MWW as its public relations agency of record. The firm will work to increase brand awareness, support franchisee initiatives, and develop “thought leadership” about cheese, red sauce and management of the same.
  • M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment will be PR AOR for Rok Mobile, provider of a “pre-paid, contract free mobile and streaming music service.” Co-founder Jonathan Kendrick says he “really liked how [the firm] approached our brief”; M&C will support multiple launches for the client in the coming year as we try to figure out whether the product is the streaming equivalent of a “burner” phone.
  • Pure Barre, a female-focused gym brand, chose Turner PR of New York, Chicago and Denver as its agency of record. The firm will run consumer and B2B comms campaigns for the client, which also sells DVDs, equipment and apparel.
  • Taj Hotels signed Edelman and sister agency Zeno Group to handle its global communications needs. The firms will work to strengthen the brand’s positioning under new MD/CEO Rakesh Sarna. (Holmes Report)
