Spin the Agencies of Record

  • New York’s Frank PR announced the signing of Tickr, a video-based dating network that helps members get to know each other via videos (which are far harder to fake than headshots).
  • Fishburn will serve as PR AOR for both Glory Global Solutions and the Securities business of MUFG, a financial services provider. In the case of MUFG, the firm’s New York office will handle media relations and employee engagement services in an extension of its London location’s existing duties serving the company’s interests in EMEA and Asia.
  • PAN Communications of Boston signed with Ad:tech, a conference for marketing/ad professionals. The firm will act to increase engagement with attendees, spread awareness via media relations, create content/social media for the event, and pay for our May 2015 tickets to San Francisco.
  • Allen & Gerritsen will serve as PR AOR for Meetup, the only social platform that actually encourages users to be social by meeting over shared interests like, say, advertising. Did you know we’re throwing a party next week?
  • Van Gogh Imports retained Conundrum as the communications agency for its Molinari portfolio, a collection of liquors that includes various types of sambuca, limoncello and other things we should have tasted while in Venice.
  • San Francisco-based Antenna signed several new clients in the energy tech sector: emission reduction tech maker ClearSign Combustion Corporation, solar energy output maximizer Ecoppia, operational efficiency software maker Nexant, solar energy cost containment company OneEnergy Renewables, the similarly described SolarEdge and Stem, an energy storage company proving that data truly is universal now.
