Spin the Agencies of Record

  • Hotwire PR will serve as AOR for Indeed, America’s top job search site. The company plans to run its first global brand campaign in the UK before expanding it to other markets next year, and Hotwire will join creative agency Mullen and media agency Mediacom in working with the internal Indeed marketing team to help promote the spots, titled “How the World Works.”

  • Xcel Brands, owner of Isaac Mizrahi and Judith Ripka brands, chose New York’s Emerging Media as its PR AOR. Emerging will handle strategic messaging and media relations while Mizrahi continues empowering more Americans to sneeze in style.
  • Baltimore’s MGH will provide a variety of PR and marketing services to two new clients: hot and cold pack maker THERA°PEARL and the Snack Food Association, an industry trade group dedicated to education and safe labeling that probably won’t be hiring Katie Couric as spokesperson anytime soon.
  • The Earned Agency will handle UK PR and social media duties for Newman’s Own Foundation, the nonprofit philanthropic organization founded by late actor Paul Newman. We would love to honor Newman’s memory by supporting all his ventures at once; if only cookies were more appropriate to eat while watching The Hustler for the tenth time.
  • Salt Lake City’s 202 Communications will handle media relations and content creation duties for Albis Technologies, a Swiss company specializing in “access technology” products like ethernet cables and other things best explained by those who are not us.
