South Korea Gets Mobile Hollywood Movies

Commuters in Korea, one of the most advanced markets for mobile phones, will soon have even more reason to keep their handsets fully charged.

SK Telecom has inked a deal with Sony Pictures Entertainment that lets it offer more than 200 hot Hollywood flicks, including “Spider-Man 3” and “The DaVinci Code” to its subscribers, The Korea Times reports.

According to the newspaper, the four-year deal calls for Sony to provide SKT with 50 to 60 new and back-catalog titles per year.
