Networking can be just as efficient over Twitter and LinkedIn as attending a get-together. But do you feel like there are simply too many social networks out there, vying for your attention? While we do think that there are simply too many up-and-coming social networking tools to keep up with, different platforms fill distinct niches, and every person has individual needs when it comes to choosing which ones to focus on. Another thing to keep in mind, as we recently discussed, is that a lot of the new social platforms are built to rely on the already-established user base of the biggest networks.
