Candy Crush Saga on iOS in Europe — Following up the successful port of Bubble Witch Saga to iOS, we've learned Candy Crush Saga's mobile build dropped this week onto Apple devices in Europe, namely in Sweden and Spain. You can probably expect to see the game coming to North America soon. East Side Games working to save Canadian forests and bald eagles — East Side Games is lending a social media hand to help protect British Columbia's endangered old-growth forests of British Columbia. The studio and its legion of fans have gotten behind the Ancient Forest Alliance's efforts to help raise awareness and protect Echo Lake (which is also a bald eagle habitat). Car Town Streets announced for mobile — Cie Games popular social game Car Town is about to launch on iOS with Car Town Streets. The game will let users build and cruise around personalized towns with their favorite custom cars. Cie Games tells us the Ecto-1 and Ghostbusters headquarters will be in the game. Note: A representative for Cie Games has changed the release date to “coming soon.” Perfect World and Valve partner for DOTA 2 in China — Perfect World and Valve announced this week Perfect World has been granted exclusive rights to operate DOTA 2 in mainland China. No further details have been announced about when the game will actually launch in the country. EA CEO says social games aren't dying — Speaking at App Conference in San Jose, Electronic Arts CEO John Riccitiello said the recent decline in social games isn't a permanent thing. Instead, Riccitiello believes, "the companies that are now suffering will have another day," but that social games need to lay off spamming users because "consumers won’t pay for crap." Pretty Little Liars comes to Ghosts of Mistwood — ABC Family's popular show Pretty Little Liars is coming to Playdom's social game Disney's Ghost of Mistwood. Players will collect in-game items related to the show's Oct. 23 Halloween special, involving the show's characters going to a "killer" party.
