Amazon kicks up hiring for social games — Amazon is continuing to build its social games development team. The company’s now set up a jobs page for its games studio, complete with detailed listings that point out Amazon is looking to develop casual web and mobile titles.
Crytek wins gamescom social award — Developer Crytek’s free-to-play shooter Warface won the 2012 gamescom award for Best Social/Casual/Online Game. Warface is scheduled to enter beta this Fall in both Europe and North America.
