The developer who discovered the XFBML tag for a Facebook want button, Tom Waddington, is at it again, finding references to social commerce within the social network’s code.

The developer who discovered the XFBML tag for a Facebook want button, Tom Waddington, is at it again, finding references to social commerce within the social network’s code.

Waddington told Mashable the “socialcommerce” coding would allow users to share product purchases, charitable donations, or items purchased within Facebook games to their profile pages and timelines.

The fact the code contains references to “socialcommerce” is a sign that they’re taking it seriously.
