Snapchat: 52% of US Users 18-24 Will Vote for the First Time in November’s Election

It teamed up with BallotReady to help 1.4 million people find their polling places in 2018

Snapchat said 52% of its U.S. users between the ages of 18 and 24 will be voting for the first time in November’s presidential election, and Snap Inc. shared some data on how it impacted the midterm elections in 2018 and its potential to do the same this year.

According to Democracy Works, 450,000 Snapchatters registered to vote in the 2018 midterm elections via TurboVote, and roughly 57%, or nearly 260,000, actually did so, compared with the 36% of total 18- through 29-year-olds who voted, according to U.S.
