Social, Mobile And Staffing Cited As Key Factors For SMB Growth, Says Study [INFOGRAPHIC]

Did you know that 22 percent of small businesses now use or plan to use Twitter in the next year?

That’s according to a recent study from Paychex, which also revealed that, after some initial reluctance and teething problems, SMBs have stared to warm up up to social media – 14 percent favour Pinterest, 25 percent are pro Google+ and more than two in five are use or plan to use LinkedIn (41 percent) and Facebook (42 percent).

Paychex surveyed 1,186 small businesses with employee counts ranging from 1 to 99 between May 16 and June 1 of this year, and discovered that almost two-thirds (65 percent) of small businesses expect staff levels to stay the same next year, and more than half (51 percent) are now using mobile technology as part of their marketing arsenal.
