SKDKnickerbocker Lining Up Its Horses?
Public relations firm SKDKnickerbocker is in the news after being hired by Genting New York, the remaining candidate in the bid for the long-political Aqueduct racino project. Genting New York, a Malaysian gambling and resorts company, hired the firm to “help deal with media and community relations,” a New York Daily News article on the subject quotes a recent news report as saying.
The Daily News article, however, goes on to suggest there’s more to the story:
But despite SKDKnickerbocker’s designation as a communications firm, one source who knows the scene points out that the company, which has offices here and in Washington, employs some serious political muscle.
