Facebook Co-Founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Instagram Co-Founder Kevin Systrom were among those who took home hardware at TechCrunch’s Sixth Annual Crunchies Awards Wednesday night in San Francisco.
Facebook Co-Founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Instagram Co-Founder Kevin Systrom were among those who took home hardware at TechCrunch’s Sixth Annual Crunchies Awards Wednesday night in San Francisco.
Zuckerberg was named CEO of the Year, beating out runner-up Larry Page of Google, as well as Twitter’s Dick Costolo, Evernote’s Phil Libin, and Yahoo’s Marissa Mayer.
And Systrom won the Crunchie for Founder of the Year, over runner-up Elon Musk of Tesla Motors, as well as the founders of Airbnb (Nathan Blecharczyk, Brian Chesky, and Joe Gebbia), Eventbrite (Kevin Hartz, Julia Hartz, and Renaud Visage), and Palo Alto Networks (Nir Zuk).
