Sirius XM Coming To Droid And Nexus One

Howard Stern is coming to Android. Today Sirius XM announced that they will be providing a free Android app to access their Internet radio service in May, though the press release states it is specifically for the Motorola DROID and Google Nexus One phones. While the application is free, you will need to pay $12.95 per month after a 7 dray trial to continue listening.

Sirius XM provides a broad range of sports and entertainment programming from the MLB, NFL, NHL, Nascar, and PGA, as well as personalities like Rosie O’Donnell, Jamie Foxx, and Martha Stewart. The service also provides ad free music programming and music specialty shows such as Bob Dylan’s Theme Time Radio and Tom Petty’s Buried Treasure.

Existing Sirius XM subscribes can sign up for the Internet radio service for $2.99 per month. If you want to be notified when the Android app is available you can do so on Sirius XM’s web site.
