Sidney Harman Proposes New Newsweek Slogan

Non-billionaire electronics magnate Sidney Harman, who recently inked a deal to buy Newsweek off The Washington Post Co., has a new slogan for the troubled magazine, according to Women’s Wear Daily.

“Connecting the Dots,” a phrase Harman has previously used to describe Newsweek may become the glossy’s rallying and marketing cry. Harman is serious about dots and the connections between them; he’s deploying his lawyers to attmept to secure the rights to the cliché.

We wonder how long Harman considered “Coloring Inside the Lines,” “Sharing With Friends,” and “No Hitting” as the embodiment of the Newsweek philosophy.
