Sid Evans Returns to Time Inc. as Head of Lifestyle Group
He's planning to rebuild the declining unit
Sid Evans, former editor of Field & Stream and Men’s Health, is returning to Time Inc. to become the new group editor of its lifestyle group in Birmingham, Alabama, the New York Post’s Keith Kelly reports.
Four years ago, Evans left Field & Stream—which was owned by Time Inc. before being sold to Bonnier—in order to take the editor in chief seat at Southern lifestyle magazine Garden & Gun in Charleston, South Carolina. Evans’ reign at the publication was a huge success—and his work at Garden & Gun won a National Magazine award this year for general excellence in the food, travel and design category.
