Show Everyone Where You’ve Been. Or, Rather, Where You Look.

Forgive this post for being semi-self promotional, given that one of the buttons concerns a short film I helped make, but being as there are numerous other designers and firms involved, it seems okay. It’s friends Andrew Huff and Naz Hamid’s new side project, El Boton. It’s a new series they’re starting of inexpensive buttons made by creative types. After their first release, with their Chicago-centric El line buttons, now they’ve moved on to ones made by web design folk. There’s one by Jason Santa Maria, another by Greg Storey at Airbag, and another terrific one by everyone’s favorite NY Times employee, Khoi Vinh. They’re really cool and very limited, so if you’re in the button mood, it’s probably time to act. Go!
