Congratulate Shepard Smith on his brand new $7 million contract. Last week, Smith signed for three more years at Fox News — with a salary that’s spectacularly, mindbogglingly high for cable television. If reports are correct, FNC was aiming to keep Shep away from CNN, whose Anderson Cooper makes $5 mil annually, along with Lou Dobbs‘ $6 mil.
Meanwhile, an e-mailer over at brother blog TVNewser points out something interesting:
