Sesame Workshop, parent of Sesame Street, has named Elizabeth Weinreb Fishman vice president of strategic communications.
Fishman comes to the company from Columbia Journalism School, where she served as associate dean for communications. Fishman had been with Columbia since 2003. Prior to Columbia, Fishman worked for CBS News for a decade.
“We are thrilled to have Lizzie join to lead our communications efforts and help us tell our powerful story,” said Sesame Workshop’s executive vp, global impact and philanthropy, Sherrie Westin.
