Sesame Street and ScrollMotion Team Up for iPhone eBooks
ScrollMotion, the iPhone app developer behind the Iceberg Reader, and Sesame Workshop, the makers of Sesame Street, announced the release of a new series of eBook apps for the iPhone. The apps are an original series of eBooks called ‘Where is the Puppy,’ in which Elmo must catch and find a home for a lost puppy on Sesame Street.
The apps are set in the new Iceberg Kids format, featuring narration by Chris from Sesame Street, the ability to make your own recording of the text, and an Elmo bookmark.
“Sesame Street introduced children and their families to the potential of television as an educational medium two generations ago, and with today’s iPhone app launch, we are helping to carry that tradition forward to an entirely new medium and new generations of inquisitive young minds,” said Josh Koppel, Chief Creative Officer of ScrollMotion.
