Send URLS from Firefox To Android 2.2 Phones

One of the features of Android 2.2 is a service that Google provides to push information to phones. The first app to take advantage of the capability is ChromeToPhone, which is a combination of an Android app and Google Chrome extension. With the application installed on your phone, and the extension installed in Google Chrome, you can send the URL in the address bar to the phone by clicking a toolbar button. You can also use the functionality to send phone numbers from web pages to the phone, or selected text to the Android clipboard.

The downside to ChromeToPhone is that it only works in Google Chrome, so if you prefer to use Internet Explorer or Firefox, you are out of luck unless you switch browsers.
