Senate Comittee Warns Staff Not To Read Drudge Lest They Contract A Virus
Senator James Inhofe, R-Okla, believes a recent warning to staffers to avoid visiting Matt Drudge’s The Drudge Report is simply a ploy to dissuade people from reading it. In an email, the Senate’s Committee on Environment and Public Works warned members of staff to avoid the website due to a possible embedded virus.
Said Inhofe:
I suspect somebody was trying to make it look as if there’s a virus there to discourage people from using Drudge. Then, somehow, I guess someone in the Capitol got a hold of it and said, yes, we are advising you not to use it.
