Sen. Cory Booker Pens Letter to AG Eric Holder on Michael Brown and Ferguson

Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) yesterday penned a letter to Attorney General Eric Holder, requesting a federal inquiry into the shooting of unarmed African American teen Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo. and the infringement of police to peacefully protest and for a free press.

“I am troubled by reports that two law-abiding journalists, Ryan Reilly of the Huffington Post and Wesley Lowery of the Washington Post, were arrested and detained while in Ferguson investigating the protests,” wrote Booker.
