Sega Launches Two Mobile Olympic Games

Sega_Olympics.jpgSega has officially launched two games for mobile phones based on the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, called “Beijing 2008—The Official Mobile Phone Game of the Olympic Games” and “Sonic at the Olympic Games.” These are the first two games that Glu Mobile announced last month as part of their new agreement to distribute Sega mobile games.

In Beijing 2008, players compete in four Olympic events: the 100m, Hammer Throw, 200m Freestyle and Table Tennis. Sonic at the Olympic Games, meanwhile, lets players compete as Sonic, Tails, Knuckles or Amy in five events including 1500m, 400m Hurdles, Triple Jump, Discus, and Javelin.

Both games cost from $2.99 to $7.99, depending on the carrier. To check availability for your phone, or for more information, visit www.olympicvideogames.com or www.segamobile.com.
