Facebook said in a note on its Altoona Data Center page that its plans will be reviewed by the City of Altoona Planning and Zoning Board Tuesday, and by the Altoona City Council May 5, with groundbreaking on the new building shortly thereafter, barring issues.
The social network added in the note:
A little more than a year ago, we announced that Altoona would be the home for our newest data center.
