Hollywood Mourns the Passing of Sean Whitesell
Husband of KTTV weather anchor Maria Quiban valiantly fought against inoperable brain cancer.
For a year and a half, Sean Whitesell fought valiantly against Glioblastoma (GBM), an aggressive form of brain cancer. His brother, Patrick, is co-CEO of William Morris Endeavor; his wife, Maria Quiban, is a weather anchor with L.A. FOX affiliate KTTV.
On Wednesday, via social media, Quiban shared the sad news of her husband’s death:
Dear Friends,
I wanted to let you all know that my husband and best friend passed away at 2:42 a.m. this past Monday, while holding my hand.
