Scribd Introduces eBook Subscription Service
Online document sharing site Scrib has introduced a new eBook subscription service. For $8.99 a month, subscribers can have access to library of bestsellers and new releases. Each month, users can check out as many digital copies as they like. The books are readable on iOS and Android apps, as well as through a web browser. It’s like Netflix for books.
Scribd launches with a partnership with HarperCollins, so the service includes titles from Neil Gaiman, John Irving and L.J.
