Schwarzenegger Praises Buchwald

Maria and I were so sorry to learn today of the death of our dear friend Art Buchwald, but knowing Art, he would not want anyone to shed a tear. Art faced his long and difficult illness with the same extraordinary courage and good humor that he displayed throughout his storied life. He not only made everyone laugh until the end, he was an inspiration to us all.

Art was truly one of the funniest people on earth, and he overcame a tough childhood of orphanages and foster homes to reach the pinnacle of journalism and Washington politics.
