Komen’s Honoring the Promise gala is back with former ABC “Good Morning America” co-host Joan Lunden as its emcee. Komen will honor Rep. The evening will feature a musical performance by Bruce Hornsby and money raised from the event will support Komen’s 19 grantees, non-profit organizations providing breast health services in the National Capital region.

Also slated to be in attendance: Susan Ford Bales, the daughter of the late-First Lady Betty Ford; Susan G. Komen founder Nancy G. Brinker; Victoria Reggie KennedyStephanie McMahon, chief brand officer, WWE; “Wicked’s” Julia Murney; and Dr. Judy Salerno, Susan G. Komen president and CEO.
