Saul Hansell Departs AOL
Saul Hansell, the New York Times veteran who founded its Bits technology blog, and left in late 2009 for AOL, is leaving his post.
All Things D reports that Hansell is moving on to become an entrepreneur in residence at Betaworks, a company which has started and invested in companies like Bit.ly and Tweetdeck.
In a post on his blog, Hansell said his departure wasn’t about AOL:
I know my friends in the technology press well enough to suspect some of them will see my move as part of a broader trend at AOL.
