Samsung Shifts Focus From eReader To Tablet
As Samsung is reportedly getting ready to release its new Galaxy tablet, reports are saying that the technology company is reigning in its eReader business.
Silicon India reports: “Samsung, one of the leading Asian manufacturers of cell phones and memory chips, is going to quit the production of e-book readers or displays, saying it to be too costly, a recent report from Korea said. According to a company spokesperson, Samsung will remain in the e-book reader market with a device that uses an LCD panel instead.
