Salon Hires Publisher

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIF. — Chris Neimeth, a seasoned executive who has successfully led a number of interactive media companies, has been named Senior Vice President – Publisher of Salon Media Group, Inc. (Salon), a leading independent media company that publishes Salon.com. In this new role, Neimeth will oversee all of Salon’s advertising sales and business operations efforts. He will be based in Salon’s New York City office.

Neimeth joins Salon from InterActive Corp. (IAC), where he most recently served as President, IAC Partner Marketing, the advertising sales and partner marketing group for numerous IAC properties.
