Russia's Yandex Partners With Twitter For Real-Time Search
Twitter has inked a deal with Russian search engine Yandex to provide real-time search results to the leading search engine in Russia. The deal will give Yandex access to all public tweets directly from the firehose.
Russian users can now find tweets through Yandex in two ways:
First, tweets will be displayed in real time as people perform searches on Yandex’s Blog Search page, interspersed between results from blogs across the internet. The Twitter feeds of Russian, Ukrainian, Belarusian or Kazakh will appear on this search results page, as well as top tweets in other languages.
