LA Programmer Donates Index Page to The Daily
This will probably not last long. But for the moment, thanks to LA based journalist and programmer Andy Baio (pictured), Rupert Murdoch’s ballyhooed iPad publication The Daily has a nifty new article web indexing function.
Baio, who works at Expert Labs, noticed there was no web indexing or archiving of articles at the new TheDaily.com website. So he went ahead and created that functionality and posted it on Tumblr. However, he blogs today that he is fully aware of the potential risks:
