Rupert Murdoch Says U.S. Schools Need New Technologies

Rupert Murdoch told the crowd at the e-G8 forum in Paris today that he wants U.S. schools to invest more in technologies, explaining that our educational system is seriously lacking high tech products. The Wall Street Journal reports Murdoch said that in order to bring U.S. students up to par with other countries, our schools need improved software:

He said the key is ‘not a computer or tablet or some other device,’ but rather the ‘software that will engage students and help teach them concepts and learn to think for themselves.’
