Runner's World Sets Pace with iPad App

Runner’s World wants its readers to sprint to the Apple App Store and download its new iPad app, which is available for $4.99, or far below the cost of a new pair of running shoes.

The Rodale-owned magazine said the app for its September issue was sponsored by Puma and will consist of 26 free preview pages of content from the issue, as well as multimedia and interactive fare, including videos, polls, quizzes, slide shows, and social-networking capabilities.
