Rule # 2: Don't ask cabbies for directions to Brooklyn

Yesterday, Fishbowl stood on a tiny street in Brooklyn Heights and marveled at the number of clueless white people in what looked like summer clothing who stalked around, bewildered. Turns out they were the entire northern European press corps, trying to find the place they’d been told that Frederik, the Crown Prince of Denmark would be attending church that morning. Police kept them back, thinking they were probably insane. They’d never heard of press credentials, or of MapQuest, or of sensible shoes.

“But we said to the man, ‘take me to Brooklyn,'” one of them wailed before being let past.
