Rovio's Angry Birds Go! races to the top spot on iOS, Android

Rovio’s Angry Birds Go is off to a fast start on iOS and Android, reaching the No. 1 spot in over 140 countries on the App Store and Google Play since its launch earlier this month. The game sees the franchise’s famous pigs and birds racing downhill in go-karts, collecting coins and blasting off of speed ramps as they compete to win each race.

Since each race takes place on a mostly downhill course, acceleration is handled by gravity and speed ramps, and players only need to steer.
