RosettaBooks Is Running Science Fiction Writing Contest

Digital publisher RosettaBooks and sci-fi magazine Galaxy are running a science fiction writing contest called The Galaxy Project. The contest comes in advance of Rosetta’s new eBook collection of Galaxy stories which launches this fall.

The winning writer will have their work published as an eBook as part of The Galaxy Project collection and will receive a $1,000 advance against royalties of 50% of net receipts to 2,500 copies and 60% of net receipts thereafter for world English digital rights.

Manuscripts for novellas and novelettes should be 15,000 to 20,000 words long. Authors will retain the copyright and all rights other than the initial digital use.
