Rosenbaum Indictments

The Washington Post reports that the two men charged with killing New York Times’ David Rosenbaum were indicted yesterday on charges that they engaged in a conspiracy involving Rosenbaum and two other holdups on the same day.

The indictments did not come as a surprise, but the scope of the charges and the conspiracy charges are notable.

The indictment charges the two men with one of those robberies: an attack Nov. 17 on a 72-year-old retired police officer. It also details a third holdup, in Silver Spring on Jan. 6, the same day Rosenbaum was accosted.

Michael C. Hamlin and Percy Jordan will be arraigned in D.C. Superior Court tomorrow.
