Ronda Rousey Is Now in Facebook Gaming’s Corner

The former MMA champion and current WWE talent will begin livestreaming Feb. 18

Facebook Gaming just added some serious muscle, as Ronda Rousey will begin livestreaming via the platform Feb. 18 at 3 p.m. PT/6 p.m. ET.

The former mixed martial arts champion and current World Wrestling Entertainment talent, celebrity fighter and entertainer said she will donate all proceeds from her first stream to the recovery efforts for the bushfires in Australia.

Facebook Gaming debuted in January 2018, and total watch hours on the platform soared 210% between 2018 and 2019, according to StreamElements.

The social network said over 700 million people engage with gaming content on Facebook every month, defining engaging as unique monthly active users playing a game (Instant Games or web games), watching a gaming video for at least one minute or participating in a gaming group (posts, reactions and comments).
