'Romenesko' Now Called 'MediaWire'
All traces of Jim Romenesko have officially been scrubbed from the media blog he started more than a decade ago. Poynter’s media blog formerly known as “Romenesko” is now called MediaWire. As Washington Post’s Eric Wemple notes, “[F]ollowing Romenesko’s resignation, well, you can’t have any more products linked to this iconic name in web-media aggregation, can you?”
Romenesko, the man, resigned last week over public criticism from Poynter’s top brass over what they called improper attribution in his posts.
