Rolling Stone Publisher Wenner Media Slapped With Class Action

Rolling Stone and its publisher Jann Wenner have long been criticized for their inability to grasp this whole Internet thing. Well, not surprisingly, since receiving texts costs people money, Wenner Media is being sued for its ridiculous text messaging strategy.

THR, Esq. has the story:

According to the complaint, filed on Tuesday in Illinois District Court, Wenner Media and Consumer Benefit Services have been sending text messages to cell phones of consumers offering vouchers for magazine subscriptions.
