The primaries aren’t over yet, but Hillary Clinton is the Democratic nominee. Everyone, aside from people still feeling the Bern, knows this. This inevitable fact makes Rolling Stone’s endorsement of Clinton for president a bit funny.
In an editorial, Rolling Stone editor and publisher Jann Wenner really went out on a limb by noting that “the clear and urgent choice is Clinton.” Yeah, uh, have you been reading about the primaries? Like, at all? She’s got this.
Wenner started off his column by noting that “It’s hard not to love Bernie Sanders,” but then explained why it’s easy not to vote for him.
“Clinton has an impressive command of policy, the details, trade-offs and how it gets done,” continued Wenner.
