Weber Shandwick promoted four executives. Chris Perry, who was president of digital, will be chief digital officer; Global Executive Producer Ian Cohen added the president of content creation and innovation role to his title; Weber Toronto EVP/GM Adam Wall has been promoted to EVP of digital operations/client service for North America; Cheryl Cook (previously EVP of global client experience) will be senior channel strategist for North America. The release tells us that these promotions will “elevate multi-channel strategy offering” for the firm, which has been focused on more content-driven work like a recently fruity campaign for Mondelez. Outreach Strategies, a “mission-driven” firm based in Washington, D.C., hired Abby Berger as its new vice president. Berger joins the firm from Golin, where she specialized in energy/corporate sustainability matters in the public affairs practice. She will continue to work on related issues for Outreach, whose Founder/President Tad Segal writes, “[Abby] is an outstanding addition to our equally dedicated team as we continue to grow the firm and advance our clients’ goals.” (Release)

Portland named Sebastian Schwark to run its New York office. Schwark, who previously served as SVP at Hill+Knowlton Strategies in Manhattan, will look to expand Portland’s client portfolio in the financial services, healthcare and energy fields by way of his international affairs specialty. He replaces Charles McLean, who will now run the firm’s Doha office. (Release)

Preston Kelly of Minneapolis added Denise Loidolt to its team in the PR supervisor role. Loidolt held positions at various Twin Cities-area firms before joining Preston Kelly; CEO Chuck Kelly says, “To meet the growing demand from our clients for public relations services, we needed to add staff, and we are delighted to welcome a seasoned professional like Denise.”

New York’s Rubenstein Public Relations hired Christian Rizzo as associate vice president in the firm’s real estate division. Rizzo, who previously spent seven years with Robert A.M. Stern Architects, will lead media strategy/execution on several real estate firm accounts. (Release)
